1. who do u believe in?
i just viewed the video of nicholas berg being decapitated.
i must say, it does nothing but make me question these people's religous beliefs.
now, i am not going to make this out to be a religous discussion ... that will come later (stay tuned) ... so sorry if it may sound like that ...
i am truly not one to question or look down upon anyone's religion or what they believe. but when things like this happen, it really makes me wonder ...
if you read the Qur'an, there are passages that outline what followers of Allah must do, to gain entrance into paradise.
many of them refer to the "higher jihad" which is essentially the "holy war", in which followers of islam must wage war against any and all people they encounter who do not worship Allah.
now, from my understanding ... this is not the basis of the religion, just a part of the scriptures.
and ... these scriptures, its what punk ass bitches like these in the video, use to justify what they do ...
it makes me sick to hear them scream "Allah" in the video as they slit the man's throat. if it makes a non-denominational christian sick, then i am sure it makes true followers of islam sick.
people not as educated as myself, may make blanket statements, such as ... "that is what they do ..." and what not.
but im not like that.
i know that these people interpret the Qur'an to say what they want it to. and use that as a scapegoat for their actions.
someone posted on NT, about what bill maher said on politically incorrect, after 9/11. about to think about the word "coward". they sacrifice their lives to fight what they believe to be a holy war. but we, launch missles from the other side of the globe.
i believe that is why his show got dropped. i cant say i disagree with his statement. but i do disagree with his point.
to say that men who twist the words of a holy document, in order to take actions against ANYONE is bull shit.
last time i checked, americans didnt look down, or wage war against any specific religion. so, the 9/11 attack which was supposedly a battle won for Allah in the holy war ... makes me think ...
i mean ... you dont see many muslims in paris do you? why not take out the eiffel tower?
to say that the 9/11 plane crash/whatever was apart of some holy war is just bull shit. it was an attack on america plain and simple.
to claim it was any part of some religion is just false. and to me, is a cop out for those bitches.
now, another reason they are cowards. is by killing themselves ... follow me here ...
in their scriptures, it states that if you meet a non-believer, and fight in the name of Allah ... and die in the process, you gain instant access to paradise.
so by being kamikaze pilots, and saying they are fighting the holy war for Allah, it gives them a free pass, of sorts.
my theory is this ...
they know that their actions, and the way the interpret the Qur'an is false. so by saying they are fighting in the name of Allah, and consequently dying ... no matter how much their actions differentiated from those outlined in the Qur'an ... in their minds, that is their entrance to "eternal paradise"
does that make sense?
im basically saying that they claim to be fighting a holy war, so that if and when they die, no matter how false or wrong their interpretation of the scriptures are ... they will still gain entrance to paradise ...
ANYWAY...
sorry to get all religous on you ... this video just kinda had me heated ... in regard to those bastards screaming allah as they slit his throat, fuck em ...
im not very religous, but i AM pretty educated ... so to see people use a religion as a scapegoat really makes me think less of them ...
more on that later ...
